A 4th year medical student is palpating enlarged spleen of a patient during teaching round at Arba Minch General Hospital, Ethiopia. Bedside teaching is an important instrument to appreciate real physical findings. This teaching methode implied small groups, in this case they were 16 students.

This photo was taken during a pilot course of Occupational Health in the rural area of Rosacai, Perú. This training used participative diagnosis strategies and transdisciplinary work to recognize the health status of rural workers. The photo shows the process risk map made by the participants and the identification of healthrisk problems in different colors, which are related to work and environmental conditions.

Water quality meter is being use to measure pollution in Anopheles breeding site. Water quality affects species distribution and insecticide susceptibility of the mosquitoes. This photo was taken in Cape Coast, Ghana.
