Academic Teacher Training Course in Nazareth, Ethiopia

Center for International Health at Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich and Jimma University, Jimma, Ethiopia offered a course in Butajira, Ethiopia, for participants from CIHLMU partner universities and other Ethiopian medical faculties.

Goals of the Course:

  • Apply, teach, and find applications for the four-step method of teaching a skill
  • describe and suggest solutions for ethical issues in education
  • experience problem-based learning
  • demonstrate a short sequence from their teaching, e.g. a seminar, or a short lecture
  • describe and apply rules of good feedback, give and receive feedback to and from another professional person
  • analyze assessment methods
  • analyze methods for dealing with high intake
